At the forum conference, Mr. Liu Jiansen introduced XCMG’s latest achievements in different countries and regions. In China, Xuzhou, XCMG and construction machinery are a cluster of associated words: Xuzhou is the home to the nation’s construction machinery and an important industrial base of construction machinery; XCMG, China’s No. 1 construction equipment manufacturer for 26 years in a row for its major business indicator performance and the world's fifth largest, has basically grown into a world-class high-end equipment supplier。

Firstly, XCMG’s annual revenue exceeds RMB 100 billion and $2.3 billion from overseas markets. Currently, XCMG’s mobile crane has the largest market share globally and its market shares for road rollers, graders and concrete machines and rank top in the world. Secondly, XCMG has more than 110 first-class dealers, 260 service stations and 200 spare parts centers abroad, and exports its products to 174 countries and regions. Thirdly, XCMG has successfully completed its global layout. Successively, XCMG has acquired merged three European enterprises including Germany’s Schwing, the leading player in global concrete machinery market, set up production facilities in Brazil, Germany, Austria, India and the U.S., and owns R&D centers in Germany, Brazil and the U.S. Now, XCMG is accelerating the construction of KD plants across the world.

In the 1990s, XCMG began the full access to Southeast Asian markets. It started with Indonesia, and then extended the businesses to other ASEAN (Association of South-East Asian Nations) countries, such as Thailand, Malaysia, Philippines, Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia. Over the past 25 years, XCMG has been dedicated to its core value of “Taking Great Responsibilities, Acting with Great Morals, and Making Great Achievements” and making great contributions to the development of the ASEAN countries, which has won their high praise and respect.

25 years later, XCMG has over 50 first-class dealers, 200 distributors, 100 4S stores and service centers as well as CKD plants, with its product penetration exceeding 20,000 units. So far, XCMG has established a complete system featuring the sales, lease, service and spare parts, training and financial services throughout the region, tremendously contributing to the infrastructure construction of ASEAN countries.

Indonesia ranks first place among ASEAN countries in terms of area, population and economic aggregate, and it is also a key market for XCMG. Since the export of road rollers, loaders and auto crane products to Indonesia in 1992, XCMG has made remarkable performances on Indonesian markets and helped with its construction. At present, we have two local dealers: GMT and CINDO, and they are capable of offeringXCMG users worry-free, considerate and timely services.

In 2104, XCMG’s export of its ultra-large 1,250-ton and 650-ton crawler cranes to Indonesia, the crawler cranes of biggest lifting capacity that China’s construction machinery manufacturers have ever sold to international buyers, promoted tremendously the development of Indonesian maritime oil mining, which was thought highly of by the Indonesian government and its people. XCMG believes that it will, together with its business partners and other China’s enterprises in Indonesia, play an increasingly import role in the building of a more beautiful and prosperous Indonesia.

In 2013, China’s governments proposed the “Belt and Road” Initiative that covers and will benefit most of ASEAN countries. This Initiative will bring unprecedented business opportunities to XCMG and other businesses both at home and abroad.

Indonesia is a major part under the “Belt and Road” Initiative framework. With significant progresses and achievements made in existing Sino-Indonesian cooperation projects, the forum conference will further enhance the cooperation between XCMG and other China’s enterprises in Indonesia to jointly make new contributions to the construction of Indonesia.

Counsellor of Economic and Commercial Counsellor's Office of Chinese Embassy in Indonesia Wang Li Ping expressed his hope that, the ICBC Indonesia and XCMG should take advantage of the unprecedented opportunities, deepen their cooperation in railway, harbor and maritime infrastructure construction and in the industrial chains related to the construction machinery sector, jointly promote the sound and sustainable development of marketing, services and investments on Indonesian and even the international markets, and increase the status and shares of respective products and services on global markets, so that the China-made products and China’s equipment will be able to service the implementation of the “Belt and Road” Initiative and the construction of Indonesia.

Dr. Rizal Ramli, Indonesian Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs, said Indonesia and China have greater cooperation and development space in economic field. This year, Indonesian government has released an array of favorable investment policies, in particular the ones on infrastructure and tourism. He hoped that XCMG and ICBC Indonesia, the two giants, through their joint efforts, will be able to get more and more projects. He believed that there will be bright prospects for Sino-Indonesian cooperation.

Mr. Shen Xiaoqi, ICBC Indonesia Chairman, expressed that the strategic cooperation not only shows the efforts that ICBC Indonesia and XCMG will be taking in deepening and widening the bank-enterprise cooperation fields and contents, but also demonstrates the great support and the active role of ICBC Indonesia in the development of the “Belt and Road” Initiative and in the infrastructure, economic and social construction of Indonesia.
