With the invitation of Laos Xieng Khouang Provincial Government, Xieng Khouang Special Economic Development Zone Government, and Xieng Khouang International Development Company, Sun Jianzhong, Vice President of XCMG and Chairman of XCMG Import and Export Corporation visited Laos on May 9-13, 2016.
5月10日至13日，考察团前往美丽的老挝川圹省对于川圹经济开发区进行考察和调研，南泥湾川圹特区国际发展公司主席陈宇君先生与川圹特区领导热情接见了孙建忠先生。陈宇君先生详细介绍了川圹经济特区的发展规划，并带领徐工考察团对于川圹经济特区建设范围内地理、矿产、环境、社会现状等进行了全方位考察。孙建忠先生就川圹经济特区的建设规划、相关政策与川圹省委、省政府、特区政府官员进行了见面与会谈；与川圹经济特区政府陈宇君主席就徐工集团和南泥湾川圹特区国际发展公司合作事宜进行了深入细致的交流。
On May 10-13, the delegation had an investigation on Xieng Khouang Province and Xieng Khouang Special Economic Development Zone. Chen Yujun, President of Xieng Khouang International Development Company welcomed the delegation. Chen Yujun detailed the development plans, and led an in-depth investigation on geography, mineral resources, environment and social status of the zone. Sun Jianzhong had a discussion on the construction planning and supporting policies with officials of Xieng Khouang Provincial Government and Special Economic Zone. He also had a detailed talk with Chen Junyu on the cooperation between XCMG and Xieng Khouang International Development Company.

In the afternoon of May 13, Sun Jianzhong visited Mr. Rattana, Vice Minister of Laos Ministry of Public Works and Transportation, and introduced the development of XCMG. Mr. Rattana was familiar with XCMG products, for they can be seen in many construction sites. He hoped XCMG would play a greater role in the construction of the China-Laos Railway, providing more high quality products and services.

In the morning of May 14, Sun Jianzhong paid a visit to XCMG’s big customers in Laos, and had a detailed communication. Customers hoped that more XCMG products could be used in the future with a more in-depth cooperation.

Sun Jianzhogn also inspected XCMG Import and Export Corporation Laos Office, the 4S shop of XCMG Agent Quinceg Ltd in Vientiane and the new exhibition area covering 10 hectares. The Laos Office is located next to the Laos China Town Sanjiang Business District, and it takes only 10 minutes’ walk to the business district and the Mekong River and 10 minutes’ drive to the Wattay International Airport. Sun Jianzhong praised the scale and maintenance ability of Laos Office, and urged agents to have closer cooperation with XCMG in the China-Laos Railway Project, making greater contribution to the Laos people.
