XCMG welcomes the five international apprentices to join our signature program ‘XCMG Apprentice Season 4’. The program aims to offer global construction machinery enthusiasts to sample what it is like to work in a dynamic environment in XCMG and learn about the innovation while promoting international exchange regarding professional expertise in the construction machinery and culture.

The one-week insightful program was first held in 2016 and notched up a remarkable success. Stepping into the fourth season, we have received considerable applications in global recruitment. The five apprentices selected are Asrarov Otabek from Uzbekistan, Anil Pradhan from India, Eduardo Alvarez from Venezuela, Marvi Baig from Pakistan and Jeffrey Alan Gonzalez from the U.S. They are from different backgrounds but share the same interest and enthusiasm towards the construction machinery industry.

This season, the participants will, for the first time, travel outside Xuzhou, visiting the largest leading platform for construction machinery industry in Asia - bauma China 2018. With the emphasis on professional development and the theme ‘Insiders,’ we are making a breakthrough to the program. After presenting the participants a behind-the-scenes look at the headquarters and the manufacturing base of XCMG, the apprentices will head to the biennial trade show to discover the Asia’s construction machinery industry at its finest.

With China being a key country in the international construction industry after having bounced back extremely strongly from several difficult years, the show is going to be even bigger than before and truly international in its scope. As one of the key industrial players, XCMG is going to exhibit an extensive range of state-of-the-art construction machinery products at booth A24, A32, B24 and B32 at the outdoor hall, and launch new foundation construction products that are designed for the needs of the local markets in Asia. The highlights of XCMG’s exhibition at bauma China 2018 include 4000t crawler cranes, electric drive mining dump trucks, high-powered mining graders and the mining giant - the largest tonnage hydraulic excavator in China.

To allow the five apprentices to gain more in-depth knowledge and inspiration about XCMG, they are going to take part in bauma China and tour at the trade fair to experience XCMG’s high-end manufacturing, innovative technology and entrepreneurial spirit comprehensively.

In addition to product showcase, with the focus on ‘Building with Advanced Technology,’ XCMG will hold conferences and forums regarding quality management models, intellectual manufacturing achievement, product promotion and strategic development of piling construction equipment. The group of apprentices will also give a presentation at the press conference on 29 November 2018, to share their feelings and experience of the apprentice program from their professional perspectives.

The integration of the apprentice program and bauma China shows that XCMG, as an industry pioneer focusing on innovation, does not solely produce high-end construction machinery equipment and components but also endeavor to build an industrial ecosystem that will benefit the parties in the construction machinery industry.
