XCMG joined hands with charities to build water purification system facilities for schools in the capital of Ethiopia

In the morning of November 20, 2021 (World children's day) local time in Ethiopia, 20 school water purification systems were funded and donated by XCMG and 17 caring suppliers were completed and put into use of 20 public primary schools in Addis Ababa.

 

Abiy Tefera, Addis Ababa City Education Bureau Schools Improvement Program Director, addressed that the newly functional clean water facilities have benefited more than 23,000 school children at 20 schools in the Ethiopian capital.

 


From 2019 to 2021, with the support of XCMG machinery and its caring suppliers, 20 schools in Addis Ababa successfully installed 23 ultrafiltration systems, 157 drinking water stations and 152 hand washing stations. On behalf of Addis Ababa Education Bureau, he thanked XCMG and its partners for their selfless support, and said that Addis Ababa Education Bureau would always participate in it and do a good job in supporting the popularization of soft knowledge.

 

This year marks the 65th anniversary of the opening of diplomatic relationship between China and Africa.
