The 9th China international construction machinery, building material machinery, mining machinery and engineering vehicle & equipment exhibition (Bauma China 2018) opened at Shanghai New International Expo Center on Nov. 27, 2018.
Zhou Tiegen, Party Secretary of Xuzhou, and Zhuang Zhaolin, Mayor of Xuzhou, visited XCMG’s exhibition zone at the exhibition hall on Nov. 29, 2018. Other major leaders from the City of Xuzhou, including Wu Xinfu, a member and Secretary-general of the Municipal Standing Committee, Xu Donghai, Vice Mayor, and Meng Tielin, Deputy President of the Municipal PCC, were also present in the inspection group.
In the accompany of Wang Min, Chairman & Party Secretary of XCMG, and Lu Chuan, President of Machinery & Deputy Party Secretary of XCMG, Mr. Zhou and Mr. Zhuang toured XCMG’s exhibition zone with great interest, being briefed by the on-site staff on the exhibition and inquiring some specifics about the exhibited products, including their structural features, development concepts, marketing performance, etc..
In the 300,000 sq.m. spacious exhibition hall, 3,340 exhibitors from 38 countries and regions debuted thousands of types of latest products and novelty technologies, dazzling crowds of as many as 200,000 visitors from around the world. Having been the centerpiece of the annual industry grand event for 9 years in a row, XCMG decked out its 6,160 sq.m. outdoor exhibition zone, the largest of its kinds this year, with 79 sets of basic machines, 41 types of core components and wide varieties of non-physical displays, thrusting its strong lineup of star products, as well as its innovative achievements and integrated solutions in cutting-edge technology and intelligent manufacturing, into the limelight of the entire exhibition area. In addition, its Mining Machinery section was also among the biggest eye-openers to all the spectators: towering aloft on the stand, 5 pieces of heavy-duty equipment -- XE7000 hydraulic excavator, XE950DH mining hybrid hydraulic excavator, XDE240 plateau-type electric-driven dump truck, XDA40 articulated dump truck and XPF1214 mobile impact crusher -- paraded proudly and beamingly in a neat formation, as if greeting continuous flows of visitors from both near and afar, demonstrating to the world the strong prowess in advanced manufacturing technology of XCMG as a world-class enterprise.
